Welcome to Fathomation! Today, we celebrate the world of XZYLOUS.
It all started from a dream the author had about 10 years ago.
"It didnt feel like I was writing a story, it felt more like I was summoning another world in real time" Gerald Ware
Welcome to the world of XZYLOUS.
This is science fiction that doesn't just entertain—it challenges you. XZYLOUS pulls you into the Umbra Barrens and the toxic Fallout Zones, where survival isn't about choosing right or wrong. It's about choosing which version of yourself gets to live.
You'll navigate the sleek LUMINA MOTH warcraft through deadly skies while the ruthless Murak hunts you in his colossal SHADOW DOME—a floating fortress that blots out the sun and hope itself. But this isn't just a chase. It's a reckoning.
Because great science fiction doesn't rely on spectacle alone. It asks the questions we're too afraid to face:
What happens when the line between human and monster disappears?
Who decides which lives are worth saving?
And when both sides believe they're fighting for survival—who's really the villain?
XZYLOUS is a story born from the collision of fear, evolution, and the desperate need to belong. It's about a world that tried to erase its mistakes by burying them in the wasteland—only to discover that what you abandon doesn't stay buried.
It evolves. It remembers. And it's coming back.
Are you ready to choose a side? Or will you forge your own path between the ruins and the domes?

Gerald Ware is a multidisciplinary storyteller, filmmaker, and visual artist whose work bridges the worlds of science fiction and social impact. A graduate of The Alabama School of Fine Arts, Ware channels his artistic vision across multiple mediums—from acrylic portrait paintings to commercial videography and storyboard development for independent films.
Ware turned to writing as a form of healing following the tragic loss of his father and brother in a drunk driving accident . Science fiction became both sanctuary and creative fuel, allowing him to explore themes of survival, identity, and transformation through imaginative storytelling.
XZYLOUS began as a 17,000-word screenplay and has since evolved into a transmedia project encompassing film, gaming, and immersive experiences. Ware has collaborated with video game developers and digital AI artists to create a playable demo featuring the protagonist navigating the Fallout Zone. The project has attracted international interest, including discussions with film production companies in Greece.
Beyond his creative work, Ware is the founder of Beanalli Coffee, bringing the same attention to craft and quality to the coffee industry that defines his artistic endeavors. As an actor, voiceover artist, and director, he has worn nearly every hat in independent filmmaking—a foundation that informs every aspect of XZYLOUS.
Ware's mission extends beyond entertainment: to amplify African American voices in science fiction, a genre that has historically underrepresented Black creators and stories. Through XZYLOUS, he aims to create a narrative that challenges conventions, breaks down barriers, and resonates with audiences who rarely see themselves reflected in futuristic worlds.
His mantra: Excellence through relentless persistence and integrity..
